|Notes for this activity:||Taught by William Blake - students learn the basic principles and health benefits of martial arts. Topics to be covered include kicks, punches, blocks, forms, tumbling, falls, breathing, history, and self-defense. This will help each individualís physical fitness by enhancing his or her flexibility, balance, stamina, and self-confidence. At the end of the course, students will be able to test for a belt. Equipment fee collected at first class.|
STANDARD REFUND POLICY: All requests for refunds must be received, in writing, seven working days prior to the start of a program. Fax requests for refunds are accepted at 301-934-5624. After the program has begun, a prorated refund, based on participation, may be approved if requested in writing with medical verification received prior to the end of the program. No refunds will be considered after a program has ended. A $10 administrative fee will be deducted from all approved refunds, regardless of circumstances, unless the program is canceled by Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks, & Tourism.
TRANSFERS: All transfer requests must be received in writing. After a transfer has been made, no additional transfers or refunds will be accepted for that program.
