Notes for this activity:Summer Basketball Leagues are intended to provide a positive social experience for young boys and girls with emphasis on good sportsmanship, fun, and exercise. Teams are based on area, age, height, and experience. Practices will be held the first week only. The two-game-per-week season runs July through early August. Games played at various locations.

Northern (NO) Area - Waldorf
Southern/Western (SU) Area - La Plata/Indian Head

T-Shirts - It is your responsibility to select the correct shirt size. Shirts may run small. Additional $7 charge for new shirt size.

The community-based yourth recreational leagues are, first and foremost, intended to provide a positive social experience for young boys and girls with emphasis on good sportsmanship, fun, and exer-cise. Teams are based on area, age, height, and experience. It is your responsibility to select the correct shirt size. Add’l $7 charge for new shirt size. Practices will be held the week of Jun 25. The two-game-per-week season runs Jul 2 - Aug 3. Games played at various locations. League is countywide. Age is as of September 1, 2018. Players age 17 must be enrolled in high school. Registration is limited.


STANDARD REFUND POLICY: All requests for refunds must be received, in writing, seven working days prior to the start of a program. Fax requests for refunds are accepted at 301-934-5624. After the program has begun, a prorated refund, based on participation, may be approved if requested in writing with medical verification received prior to the end of the program. No refunds will be considered after a program has ended. A $10 administrative fee will be deducted from all approved refunds, regardless of circumstances, unless the program is canceled by Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks, & Tourism.
TRANSFERS: All transfer requests must be received in writing. After a transfer has been made, no additional transfers or refunds will be accepted for that program.
