|Notes for this activity:||Paddle through the World War I Ghost Fleet while observing the park's unique wildlife and historic/cultural features, all led by an experienced and knowledgeable guide. This 3 hour program includes a bonus tour of the burning and salvage basin and a paddle through the beautiful meandering tidal creek. Fee includes introductory kayak lesson, guide(s), tandem kayak (two-person kayak, per person), paddle, and PFD (personal floatation device). No experience necessary. Pace is very relaxed. Single person/odd number patrons renting will be paired with others. Participants 8-17 must be accompanied by an adult.|
TOUR REFUND POLICY: All requests for refunds must be received, in writing, seven working days prior to the tour. Fax requests for refunds are accepted at 301-934-5624. No refunds will be considered after a program has ended. A $10 administrative fee will be deducted from all approved refunds, regardless of circumstances, unless the program is canceled by Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks & Tourism.
If tour is canceled due to inclement weather conditions, participant will be offered a transfer to another tour date or a full refund. After a transfer has been made, no additional transfers or refunds will be accepted for that program.
Please bring drink, snack, towel and sunscreen. Participants are required to complete a medical information form and sign a release at the park prior to starting the tour.
