|Notes for this activity:||Beyond the Bell|
Beyond the Bell (BTB) is an afterschool activities club for middle school aged teens looking for a safe environment to do their homework, hang out with friends, and enjoy structured activities. Become a member at your school and enjoy special benefits and events exclusive to club members. The afternoon will begin with a snack and homework time, remaining time will consist of recreational activities in the cafeteria, gymnasium, or classroom.
Open to Grades 6-8 • Fee: $50 per week
One-time enrollment fee: $25 (per school year)
Program begins September 4 and is ongoing throughout the school year. Registrant must attend school where participating. Fees are not prorated on short weeks. Fees are due the Friday before the following week. A $10 late payment fee will be assessed if payment is not received by Monday at midnight of each week.
The Beyond the Bell Program does not meet on days the school is closed. The Beyond the Bell Program will meet on scheduled early dismissal days.
STANDARD REFUND POLICY: All requests for refunds must be received, in writing, seven working days prior to the start of a program. Fax requests for refunds are accepted at 301-934-5624. After the program has begun, a prorated refund, based on participation, may be approved if requested in writing with medical verification received prior to the end of the program. No refunds will be considered after a program has ended. A $10 administrative fee will be deducted from all approved refunds, regardless of circumstances, unless the program is canceled by Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks, & Tourism.
TRANSFERS: All transfer requests must be received in writing. After a transfer has been made, no additional transfers or refunds will be accepted for that program.
